Looking around the MSE Beauty board it seems that there's also a lot of fans of the Aldi version over there. The Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch Concealer is also apparently very good. Superdrug has it on special offer at £3.99 at the moment (usually £4.99). It's £4.99 in Boots but is in the 3for2 makeup promo. Maybe also worth a look for those who don't have Aldi nearby?0

Sorry to confuse! It's actually called "Health, Beauty & Fashion Moneysaving Board"

I actually try to avoid that part of the site usually though, as I know it'll cost me too much money with too many temptations!!!
This looks like a great thread, with lots of recommendations for low priced cosmetics etc (although it dates back a few years so some details may have changed - doesn't look like it's updated that regularly now but probably still has lots of fab tips!):

I think there are 2 or 3 colours and the pen if you are looking in the shop is actually silver, or at least is used to be. I have had mine ages.
All their makeup is boxed up so you need to look on the box for the right colour but at £3.00 odd you cant go wrong. I have also been using the Lacura Serum and daily face cream now for a year or so and it beats No7 hands down. I wouldnt change it for anything else. Its always getting great reviews in the papers. Plus its loads cheaper, £1.99 for the day cream and about £3.50 for the face serum which is huge and lasts ages. WELL DONE ALDI!!:grouphug: :grouphug:0 -
I use the Asda own version- the review I saw said it was better than the genuine one!:rotfl:Survey Queen/Poundland Fanatic:rotfl:0

I've just been to Aldi this morning, never ever thought of looking at their make up and skincare!
I will have to try of of these pens, might have a bash at the serum and face cream too since I'm getting low on the face cream I have now.
Thanks for the heads up ladiesTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
This is the face serum thats won awards and its lovely, absorbs into the skin lovely and smells yummy, its quite a large 30ml for the money, worth a go http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/product_range/product_range_13663.htm
Hand cream also brill at only 75p, I cant believe I used to pay over £5 at boots for their botanics and No7 range. This smells lovely aswell. To be honest I havent found a bad beauty product yet from Aldi:grouphug: :grouphug:0 -
Does anyone know if Aldi stocks the concealer pen regularly?....or is it just a special offer type item which is only available every now and again?0
