Cheap unlimited broadband?

We're looking for a new broadband provider (and landline) in short notice as leaving housemates told us the one we have now runs out on the 14th, leaving us few time to find the right deal.

I checked for LLU coverage and this came up:
AOL: Enabled
O2 / Be: Enabled
C&W / Bulldog: Enabled
Orange: Enabled
Sky / Easynet: Enabled
TalkTalk (CPW): Enabled

Also:
ADSL status: Enabled

ADSL Max status: Enabled

SDSL status: Enabled

21CN WBC status: Enabled

I checked for cable but it is not available here.

The deals that usually come up for our place are Orange and BE, BE wants to charge us 85 pound if we change to it, so I'm not keen on choosing that one.
Orange gets a lot of bad reviews, so in all the LLU services seem not to be the better deals for us.

I play videogames and watch a lot of stuff online and 2 of the housemates have game consoles to connect online.
So I would like one with unlimited broadband and 20mb connection.

I'm kind of at a loss here with everything. I found sky to be cheap but they seem to have crappy connections...

Anyone got any ideas?

Your existing service doesn't just 'run out', it simply reaches the end of it's minimum term and becomes a 30 day rolling contract, with 30 days notice required. So why not continue with that?
Otherwise either O2 or Sky LLU would be the obvious choices.

O2 or Sky. BE Broadband are very good in terms of speed and unlimited usage..but they are fairly expensive at £22 p/m (just for broadband)....

What is the £85 quote for? who is your current phone/broadband with?

    O2 No longer Unlimited
Be Unlimited £22/£25 per month 12/3 month contracts
Sky £15 per month Unlimited 12 month contract

I'm using Sky LLU Unlimited getting 18Mb on there "crappy connections..." suits me fine for £15

Be Value is only £17 per month and is suitable for most users (not everyone can get above 12 meg speeds), bear in mind this is truly unlimited download service also, not capped, not throttled and not subject to "fair use" policies.

I suspect the £85 charge Be are talking about is to provision a phone line for you, though you don't need this to take their Internet only service :)
