More like captain crashtastic, if you read the thread of the same name.
Which, strangely, has vanished. First the graph which Hamish posted, and then proceeded to bite him on the **** disappeared (on the same day that Hamish had edited the post). Now, the thread is nowhere to be seen.
I suppose it would be wrong to see any of Hamish's failed predictions, even though his predictions are always spot on.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -
Although being on here for 3 years now I am still surprised people go on about as a spring bounce being related to prices increasing.
I was always of the belief it signified transactions increasing after winter?
If there was a seasonal price increase it would be removed by a seasonal adjustment, thats why they have seasonal adjustments.0 -
It's neither stagnation nor crash. The comparison with last month is irrelevant. More important to look at the longer trend, and this shows a decrease - potentially significant, but hardly beartastic.
One way or another I'm sure there will be a correction downwards, but it could drag out much longer.0 -

Evidently not, as you were obviously listening.
It seems Hamish has used some http://www.vanish.co.uk/ to get rid of gold coloured stains.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

Prices are unchanged from last month to this month..... So the year on year is a reflection of what was happening last year, not this year.
Prices unchanged from last month to this month Graham.... No way to describe it other than stagnation.
I remember a certain aberdoomian poster has regularly demonstrated a preference to YOY figures.
Any idea who that might be Hamish?
