Cineworld Unlimited Pass & Orange Wednesdays

Hi,
I've got an Unlimited Pass, and I read on the tips about Orange Wednesdays working together with it, excellent!
So yesterday (when I saw Board the Decks, Pan's Labyrinth and Stranger Than Fiction
) I asked the Till Attendant about this and they said it wouldn't work
.
I'm going to go down with a friend on Wednesday, what should I do if they say it doesn't work (aside the obvious; buying a ticket :P)? - Martin sounded pretty certain it does!
Thanks

Hi,
Thought I'd update this for anyone interested.
We went down last Weds to our local Cineworld (Enfield) with 2 friends and told them we'd emailed Cineworld and they'd confirmed it was fine. Of course we had 2 different Orange Wednesday codes, but strangely they asked for neither of them, they had no problem at all doing the tickets though, and they just said complimentary or something like that on them instead of Orange Wednesday so maybe it was just because they were busy and didn't know how to do it - he didn't go off to ask anyone (the guy with long hair if anyone wants to try it there - he always seems to be there when we go!).
Hope that helps someone0 -
Hi! I have been considering the Unlimited Pass and wondered if anyone had tried it out! Thanks for that :-)TescoMum :-)

my GF and i have it and it's worth it if you go to the cinema more than twice a month.
however bear in mind it is a CONTRACT for a year. This, I regret. Because after a while it becomes almost a 'pay as you go' cinema card! There are frankly only a couple of good movies a month worth watching so in the end it depends.
The other mistake is we BOTH joined and didn't know about orange wed so if I could do it again definitely get just 1 card and use the orange wed deal.
right now i'm trying to cancel at least 1 card and having some difficulties...
hope this helps0 -
Hi, I used to work for cineworld, I dont think the orange wed will officially work with an unlimited card-as you say it said complimentry on it suggests the member of staff did it "unofficially" for you and he could probably get in trouble for it. (the male staff with long hair will probably not care!)Also if you want to cancel an unlimited card contract, just cancel the Direct Debit! and the contract is then broken and they cancel the card.November £10 a day challenge. Im starting early- 66p so far!0

i've used orange wednesday promo in conjunction with my unlimited card and it works fine.
unlimited card is considered as paying ticket.A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.0 -

I got this card the other day, I emailed Cineworld first to ask about orange Wednesdays and they confirmed it does work, and then the women who sold it to me also said I could use it along with orange Wednesdays without me even asking her about it.
So you definitely can, but maybe some staff might think you can't0 -
ok i got an orange sim card- can i just cancel my partner's cineworld card and we can use this to still go to cineworld together - i am not sure what the actual deal is but i assume it means that every week you can use orange wed to watch one new movie free? or is it only weds?0

As the name suggests, it's only Wednesdays. You text the word 'film' to 241 and you get sent a code (costs 35p I think) which makes your cinema tickets buy one get one free.
The unlimited card will count as your paid ticket.
You're supposed to keep your unlimited card for at least a year. But if you cancelled the direct debit I don't see how they could enforce it0 -

Mine is an actual signed credit agreement. So if you dont pay or cancel your DD etc, you will still be liable to pay the remainder of the year. If you still dont pay, then you could aquire a CCJ and this will effect your credit record.
