I hope the SSPCA are a bit more caring than the RSPCA.
The fashion here in Wolves is for Staffies for 'security'. A lot of people, including my next door neighbour also gain a bit of income from breeding.
I am sick to my back teeth with complaining to people.
I really don't know what else to do except fill in this bl**dy noise diary. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
The Dogs Trust doesn't act that way. That's why I support them.gettingready wrote: »If you do report it - please keep in mind dog may be taken away, put in a kennel and eventually put down.
Not sure really what would I do, so many dogs are put down by RSPCA each yer as there is not enough homes for them.0 -
Really ? yeah rite - from personal experience I know otherwise.
Not from their campaigns, advertisements etc but from personal experience with a completely healthy dog that was not given a chance and was PTS after few minutes with their "behaviourist".
They ALL put healthy dogs to sleep for the smallest excuse - they are just not very open about it or they word their policies in such a way that they can apply whatever they want as a reason to put a dog to sleep.
Anyone thinking otherwise is very naive I am afraid.0 -
Im afraid getting ready is quite accurate there. They may say they dont put down healthy dogs but other problems will mean the dogs are pts - Ive also heard rescues saying DT cherry picks the dogs which are likely to be placed to homes quickly, leaving most of the hard, old, ugly, dodgey ones to linger in pounds or be saved by other rescues.
Its a very hard life being an unwanted pet and it breaks my heart.0
