Oh DT, you are so lovely. I wished you Happy Birthday on f/b, but I'm glad I came onto your thread to get the full gen.
What you said about the little girl not remembering you made me think of the little girl who was in a Chilean household I lived in for a while in London - when the Chilean lot came to see me after I moved out of London, a couple of years later, they brought her with them, of course, and she stared at me for a while, and then ran to me and hugged me - then she said, "I forgot to remember". It was the sweetest thing I'd ever heard.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

:o:o:o :hello::o:o:o:o:
So sorry folks I have tried to keep up with other peoples' threads but just have not had the energy to do mine
Watched Kate Humble's planet earth and I have decided that is the problem the 1000km an hour we are travelling I feel that is the speed life has been going at recentlyI did feel that I was getting on top of it at the end of February but must have been lulled into a false sense of security by the extra day as it didn't last
I am actually on holiday in my house on Lanzarote :T have been here for a week and it has taken me that long to wind down so thought I ought to catch up.
It is a miracle we are here as even when we were in the airport I was not sure we were actually going to fly reasons being in short summary as follows
1. OH had to have op sooner than we expected so thought we would have to cancel hols
2. Then told OK to go on hols
3. Despite having pre op check op cancelled on day due to unexpected heart problem so thought hols off due to needing to see cardiologiist
4. Cardiologist on holiday (what a cheek:D) managed to get hol insurance at 6 times normal price  so we decided to go on hols and have cardiologist appt the day after we got back
5. Took Mom to my brother's early because of above op she got chest and water infection next day eventually admitted to hospital
6. Hospital did xrays happy with her
7. Whilst waiting for ambulance to take her back to my brothers she had heart attack:(
8. Went to see her twice in hospital including day before we were due to fly and she was improving
9. Carried on down to Gatwick car not welleventually booked car into Gatwick Honda and went to airport
10. Had phone call from brother whilst at airport to say Mom was being discharged from hospital so decided to go and she is continuing to improve so haven't had to make a mad dash home ....... yet
In other news at least having car in garage meant we didn't have to pay parking charges at airport :money: but £445 car bill outweighed that a bit and they reckon another £1K needs spending on it car is 12 years old done 179K miles but we need it so will have to look at that when we get back
Good news is I am to be a grandma again :T:T:T:T:T DD is feeling very sick though and last time it lasted the whole 9 months as it did for me
Other potentially good news is we could be CC debt free in May but won't know until we get home as not sure exactly how much pay we are going to get at the end of April but it is so close I can smell it
Still have 2 foster children although older one has now been approved for adoption so hopefully will find a new family soon they are both in respite which I hate but was very necessary as we needed the break so much and time to concentrate on our children
There's lots more I could bore you with but you will be pleased to know I won't :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Love to all
