Mumto5 - ouch! We did an 18 mile round trip to a pub for lunch on my birthday last year which we enjoyed but it does make you sore. I swear by proper technical socks for no blisters - mine are Aldi cheapies but they are great.

I will join you at 11.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning all,

Well Moon and I went to the DIY store to find out about getting a new kitchen, as we were given a little bit of money for our wedding presents so that we can do up the house. We've got a designer coming out to the house on Friday morning, so fingers crossed I'm not asked to work (as you can see, I've not had a call today so far), as Moon never asks the right questions, or remembers the answers if he does.

We went over to a friend's house afterwards to look at their holiday footage, as they've just returned from a Route 66 road trip in the US, and we unexpectedly ended up being invited to dinner. It was nearly 11pm when we got home, and I couldn't get to sleep, so I'm secretly quite pleased I've not had to rush out to a school this morning.

Well I suppose I'd better make a start on the lists. Is anyone up for a HHC 11.15-11.45?

Happy birthday to FFP. Hope you have a lovely day, and it's nice to see you back.

    Also welcome back ruth.

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Well, I managed to unload and reload TD (the line is full and lots more to do), wiped kitchen surfaces, binned the junk mail, cleaned the hob and made a cuppa!! It's a bit too hot so going to run the hoover round and then sit for ten with cuppa before going to work.....xx
