can I end my contract early because.....
I signed a 24 month contract around 14 months ago. It was for a nokia N900. First complaint was sales rep said it sent MMS messages but it doesn't but without proof of that sales pitch I am stuck with a phone that never fit the purpose I needed. Actually that was me going off topic, Ok the reason for this post :-)
I sent my N900 to be repaired under warranty and got a call back saying they can't replace the handset as its no longer in stock and offered me 3 alternative handset options. My question finally is can I ask for my contract to be terminated on the basis that the handset I signed up for is no longer the one being offered? Whats my chances here?
Thanks

As has been said on this forum many times, the handset is not part of the contract.
You are able to use your SIM in any phone and still make calls and send texts. You SIM is your contract (your airtime).
You would be unable to cancel the contract on the basis of a faulty phone or being unable to replace your N900 when the phone is no longer available.0 -
Personally I would be more than grateful at that offer.... N900 is a joke (personal opinion not that of others..).'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.
