Alternative to Lloyds TSB

Hello,
I'm currently 17 and in full time education, I have a current account with HSBC and Lloyds TSB as well as a Cash ISA with Halifax. At the current time I am rather dissatisfied with Lloyds service and as such I am looking to switch bank accounts. Typically I would hold around £100 - £300 in the account before it is transferred to my ISA, I will always have the account floating above £100 in the event I wish to make a purchase so I do not have to withdraw from the ISA.
As such I am not too concerned about interest rates as I have my Cash ISA, however I am concerned with quality of service along with a Visa Debit card. I have been looking at moving to Barclays however I have not seen much feedback about them on this forum and I am wondering if anyone has better alternatives.
Thanks,

Throughout the last month their internet banking service has been down on 5 separate occasions along with phone banking. Maybe I'm just too used to HSBC, but I've been a customer for around 5 years and I cannot remember a single time where there internet or phone banking has failed.0

Lloyds TSB Online banking and phone banking is always up and running just fine when i use it most days.
Perhaps check out Natwest or Halifax ?' You only live once ! Don't live to regret the past, But to enjoy the future '

The problem I find with Lloyds TSB is that although the internet banking is fine in the day time, any time beyond 9pm and you will always have unreliable service. I understand that they need to do upgrades but it has happened 5 times in one month, especially as I haven't once had problems with HSBC and I often call at the same time.0

Well Natwest goes down for around 2hrs each day, but this is normally in the middle of the night. I have never had a problem with Lloyds TSB going down even in the evenings. Is it really that much of a problem.0

This may be a stupid question, but if you are happy with HSBC, then why do you want / need a 2nd account with TSB or any other bank ? Simply stick with the bank you are happy with - HSBC

I hardly ever carry cash with me and as such I often rely on my HSBC Visa card. As such I would be screwed if it were to be eaten by an ATM or declined for another reason, I keep an account with Lloyds TSB with money in it in case my card breaks so I'm not stranded.0

Ask for a 2nd Visa card for your HSBC account or simply use the HSBC switching service to move your TSB account to HSBC and get a Visa card on that 2nd accountThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Gosh if its only a 2nd account, you sure seem to rely on it loads which is weird as its only a 2nd account.
Why not get a 2nd account with HSBC with a card if you are happy with them?0 -
Why are you dissatisfied with LTSB?0
