  • Hi Guys

Ive just received a court claim letter following a private parking fine. its gone from £60 to £176, i wrote them a letter initially which advised i refused to pay as the charges were unfair as i was parked for apprx 5 mins to post an item at the post office right next to the private parking spaces. i was hoping that would be that until i got the court claim form.

Now do i defend all of the claim or part of the claim? do i offer say £8 for the 5 mins parking or just offer nothing?

    many thanks

    Dan,

Have you had actual court papers from mcol or threats to take it to the small claims ?

They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Can you login into the money claim website, that will confirm if it's real or not. ?

Good luck one of the regulars from Pepipoo will help you.

This really highlights the fact that you should NEVER EVER contact them. There is no such thing as an appeal process, it is simply a phish for information (Your address, admission you were the driver etc).
