Wow that is a lot of money, I take it you must live down south perhaps.

I live down south, and my favourite chippie does regular and large portions of chips

The regular (£1) does at least two people and I reckon the large at £1.50 would feed a family.:T

    Always a blooming queue though

My chippy does a small chips for 70p and medium/large chips £1.20/1.60

I went in asking for a small chips, then asked if I could have some cheese on it, the lady charged me £1.20 (70p plus 50p for cheese), fair enough.

But went back in a week later and got served by the man and he charged me £1.90 and gave me a huge portion I ended up wasting.... Annoyed.
