Local chippy charging me 50p

Well I guess at any point you could have asked them for a discount since you were buying a smaller portion, but since you didn't I think it's very nice of them to offer.

Chip shop portions have always been huge in all chippys. I'd rather pay less for a smaller portion personally.

Round here chips are £1.30 for a small scoop onto a small polystyrene tray. Can you buy us all some 50p chips and post them please!

One of our local chippies do a normal sized fish and a smaller fish which are only £2. £1. less than the normal price, it goes down a storm with the customers as with chips the meal is still substantial. £1 and £1.40 for 2 or 3 scoops of chips.

We have a place with various branches in birmingham that does fish and chips on a friday for £1.

There always packed on a friday regardless of which branch you go to.
