Dharm, you will have to spend the £18 voucher in one go, so maybe have a look on tesco.com for offers on non-perishable goods eg loo rolls, washing powder, tins and packets etc, so you will save money in the future while getting a good deal now.

ETA, in the past other dtders have managed to buy tesco gift cards with their vouchers even though this is not allowed in the t&cs, so you could give it a try. On the other hand some who used vouchers for gift cards have found later that the gift card has a zero balance.(whether this is because the card wasn't charged correctly by the SA or tesco later wiped the card because it was paid for by a voucher i don't know, but I thought I would mention it)

    It's only a game

It is, but you had to buy it in multiples of 3 as it's 3 for £10 at Asda which makes a good price match.

Pants!! Fluffed up there then :rotfl:

I made the same mistake :o Only 4 of the chardonnay were there so ended up picking those and 2 gallos! I paid with my price checker voucher and debit card, i wounder if they would refund the 3 back in vouchers or let me exchange for something completely different?

I still have the receipt for the price checker voucher i used today. It wouldn't be right but technically with this receipt i could still get a full refund on the 6 gallos?

This thread seems to have been moved to 'gone but not forgotten'
    Why is that then?
Have Tesco stopped making price errors?
    The end is nigh

i gave up on this when dtd stopped - and am amazed it's still here - just found it still going, question is why? i've scrolled back and everyone seems excited but surely if it cost £1 in asda - and you pay £2 for it in tesco the £1 cashback isn't a big deal? it's only paying what asda charge you? i'm sure i'm missing something so if someone would point me at the answer, it's bound to be here i'm just being a bit blonde and missing it! thanks xx

Not everyone has an Asda nearby. I do, I'm just going on what I've seen other people write on here.

And in their cases, it may cost them more to travel to Asda than it would be to buy at Tescos and get the difference back.

Plus.... I like keeping a £20 voucher in the house so when a glitch comes along like the wine glitch where it takes £20 off the bill and you can recycle to get more wine and recycle again to get some more and more and more and more!!!!!!!! ;)

is it really that straight forward then? it's not that i'm missing something (usually the case!) but it really is that you just end up paying what you'd pay in asda - there's not any great dtd equivalent way of saving?
