are you sure???I do apologise blobby, perhaps I had overestimated you. My mistake.
When I said £20 note, I meant £20 voucher.
And by £20 voucher. I mean unsigned/unkept receipt.
Is this now spelled out for everyone.
MrMister is a sudden newbie on the scene and seems to have very strong opinions pro reuse of vouchers for a newbie
henlans has gone super quiet very suddenly
am I putting 2 and 2 together and making 5 here?????????????

Yes, I too have just had this same email response for my last 2 submitted receipts (both in excess of £65). Bit of a coincidence isn't it? It's a computer system - it can't be "untraceable" - not that I believe computers are infallible, but I just have a feeling the Tesco Pricecheck system is just about to go down the toilet and they are fighting off having to fork out any more cash! Last time I got this response I mailed them and tried to argue the point that a) it was my local store and b) it was me who bought the goods and was still in possession of the receipt- just got the standard response- untraceable.
They are probably trying to spin it all out for as long as possible to compete with Asda's price checking system - but I think we're being conned.
If there was an Asda nearer to me I'd be there this week - with bells on!:rotfl: Unfortunately it's 10 miles away.
This Tesco "failure" (I can think of a better word for it) needs to be made MUCH more public- we all need to be Tweeting and Facebooking about it.They are getting our business under a price promise that they then "cannot administer" - that's a polite way of putting it!0 -

The best way to find price differences is to go to MySupermarket and for each of the main sections e.g. Household & Pets, Baby, Health & Beauty, click on the link for offers.
The biggest differences are in those sections especially if you are in need of any face creams to reduce the lines & wrinkles caused by the stress of dealing with trouts :eek:0 -
Asda had adverts in the national papers today. Quite a few bits down to £1 but can only remember Cheerios and those rippa dipper things that folks were raving about a few weeks ago. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'
