When I printed out the Finish coupons (or was it the Huggies ones) I was told my IP address had been logged. I tried to print out more vouchers under the hubbies name using both FF and IE and both times it said I had already done this. Would this be why people talk about doing a system restore? Not going to try it as it's not worth it before anyone shoots me down.
If it were by IP address then that would make it very unfair to the masses. Take a large company of 1000 people with no IT policy preventing software installation. 1 person installs the coupon software and gets the vouchers. Person #2 tries the same thing but they get told they've already done it. Although each PC has its own IP address within an organisation, the company itself will present one totally different IP address to the outside world thus if the coupon was IP address specific, hundreds or thousands could be prevented from getting vouchers given this scenario.
Edit: I was doing a search in Google and came across this. I think it's a new link for the £5 Finish voucher and I've been able to print one off without issue (or system restore!)

thanks for the finish link i was so excited dispite getting a few free with the paper moc aweek0 -
Think my Asda have gone trouty on the coupons now, last time i got refused multibuy on finish, today the same girl scrutinised the huggies moc and said because the picture is size 1 54's not 27's i cant use the moc. Have you ever heard such rubbish in all your life, i told her the t&c says nothing of size, she says it didnt matter; i say well the top says on any huggies nappies, she say oh that's ok then - stupid trout.........

I was getting withdrawal symptoms from DTD and was referred to this thread but never thought I'd be able to contribute anything sensible! Just thinking, you'd think after DTD we would have enough dishwasher stuff but free stuff is free stuff!
Oh and for whoever asked, my folks are printing off coupons and DH has his own laptop so will be getting him to do the same. My techie background means I can think of ways to print vouchers off quickly without a restore but I couldn't be bothered - I am on maternity leave after all :cool:0 -

Morning all
The one moc per transaction thing at Sainsburys got me too. Turned into a right palaver as they tried to sort it out and the sa couldn't understand why the till wouldn't accept the second moc. I did get the spa breeze Venus though [I asked and someone went off to find some more for me - how unlike Tesco!]So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try
