Of course if you did buy both you should be able to use one coupon for each item
;) (Unless T's tills have been properly programmed :eek::eek::eek:)
by the way thanks to everyone on here im already addicted to this thread:T:T0 -
Hi there,
Sorry if this has already been answered, I've only scrolled through the 1st page.
I tried to print out some cat food coupons a little while ago, and I ended up going round in circles for over an hour trying to install the coupon printer software. On googling the issue, it seems the software isn't compatible for macs running snow leopard.
I tried it with Safari, Firefox & Google chrome. I also tried it in Windows xp and Linux running under Parallels, and I got an error message saying it couldn't be used with virtualisation software.
My DH got rid of his old windows pc, so our only computers now are macs running OS 10.6 (SL).
Any other suggestions about getting the coupons to work? I'm guessing it wouldn't work at the library, likewise I wouldn't want to install this widget on a friend's computer. Is it worth trying Boot Camp?
Many thanks in advance to fellow mac geeks who can advise :beer:Competition wins: 09/12 bottle of cognac; 01/13 combi microwave0 -

Question for someone clever!
Can you scan coupons through self-service machines (in tesco-asda-sainsbury) or does assistant have to do it for you?
Many TIA.
I regularly use coupons at the SS tills in Tesco and Sainsburys, but I generally only use 1 at a time otherwise the SA has to come to authorise. Even then, particularly in Sainsburys they are not usually too fussed. Asda SS tills won't even accept one. HTH0 -
hello all!
Someone was asking about where to offload huggies/asda boxes to - do you have a SureStart Children's centre near you? My local one has 'emergency' nappies and wipes in the loos and I'm sure they'd be only too glad to take them for you. Don't let them have the mocs though:rotfl:there are folk on here that would rip your hands off for them - myself included
It's a bumper day on Film 4 for all you classic film fans. Cottage to Let, This Happy Breed, Brief Encounter then Roman Holiday. For once I am glad that I've left all the housework to pile up! (Sending apologies to everyone at work)0 -
My T womble emails have arrived and have a grand total of 39p!!!
It seems sometimes T's is cheaper than A!!

I have added whole list of coupons in SSM link. Big thanks to Kinner54 for this great find......!!!!!!:T:T:T (yet to add the value of coupons)
Thanks to all who posted the great bargains and tips and best place to use these SSM coupons.
Also a friendly request to all my newbie friends, that, your coupon finds as well as any out of date coupons OR if you get "offer ended" message while printing any coupons from first page, PLEASE PLEASE POST IT IN BLUE, which will be easily recognised, and I can update it as soon as possible.
Thank you once again to everyone for your co-operation.:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:
Good morning all...:)0 -
With the SSM ones you can always use top and bottom to get two on a page but be very careful because some are printing at the bottom and some at the top and I think it also varies if you choose T or S, so for the cost of a sheet of paper is it worth risking a £1 moc? (I know some on here can do it but I found DTD less stressful than trying to use top and bottom of the paper! The number I ruined when I first began I just gave up
:o
Just made that mistake myself this morning...looks like S are printing top and T are printing bottom. And for once I 'honestly' pressed the 'didn't print' button and I was told I'd reached my maximum quota :cool:Addicted to MSE0 -

I can't post the link but the title is 'Weezl and Friends Phase 4'
I was also going to suggest the latest Weezl thread - in fact it's what got me 'into' mse. I was searching for a thrifty recipe and came across this thread where Weezl was feeding herself and her OH (healthily) for 50p a day each  Gave me lots of ideas and tips and I managed £60 a month for me, my OH and my (then) 2 year old.
The basic advice is to cook from scratch, no buying lunches and to lower your expectations - do you have meat every day? What are your portion sizes like?
Pre Weezl thread me & the OH would happily demolish a roast chicken - now it can last us several meals and that's before using the stock for risotto.
There's also advice on how to cut down on gas/elec and although I never posted it seemed to be a supportive thread. Good luck, and fingers crossed it won't be forever.0 -
