A flurry of questions as I skip over from DTD thread.
Can somebody - anyone please - tell me: When you print out a coupon, does it matter if you resize it (say, to get 4 on a page instead of 3)?? Will it still scan okay? Does it matter how much you shrink the coupon (thus barcode)? - how big does it need to be??

    :):p:)

I would recommend not messing with the 'Normal' safecoupon sizes if that's what you mean? Not only will you, as you have already guessed, mess with the barcode size etc you may find you are being accused at checkout of tampering/copying etc just not worth the aggro IMHO

With the SSM ones you can always use top and bottom to get two on a page but be very careful because some are printing at the bottom and some at the top and I think it also varies if you choose T or S, so for the cost of a sheet of paper is it worth risking a £1 moc? (I know some on here can do it but I found DTD less stressful than trying to use top and bottom of the paper! The number I ruined when I first began I just gave up :o:o

    Evening All!

Been on a bit of a roll today! Killed a DTD voucher the other day on half price meat and got a £3 off £20 till spit. Used that and another DTD voucher to get 6 bottles of Chenet wine (on offer at £3) plus a few other bits and got another £3 off £20 till spit. Used that and another DTD voucher to get another 6 bottles! (hic!)

Just answered above and if you mean the pdf's then I find four to a sheet in landscape gives you a coupon just slightly smaller than the safecoupon types which usually scan OK (Can get 6 at a push but sometimes looks too squashed)

Some of us used to do multisheets but they started appearing on eBay and so we stopped:beer:

Of course if you did buy both you should be able to use one coupon for each item ;);) (Unless T's tills have been properly programmed :eek::eek::eek:)
  • By the way I have a box and filing system for my coupons. I thought it was just me - Do any of you? Mind you wouldn't take it into Tesco with me..
Mine is an old diary (free from Olive magazine) with a built in laggy band.. Razorred out all the pages and my mocs are in there in date order. I don't feel embarassed about getting it out in public as it looks like a diary.

I've only been on this thread since around Feb/March and I love being here because I live alone and people here have been so supportive; it makes such a difference to my life. (hope that doesn't sound too sad).

I'm still learning about MOC's and the fact there are so many newbies asking questions now is really useful for me too as I think, Oh, I didnt know that!

I haven't found a MOC yet...so grateful for all finds! I wish I'd known about MOC's years ago.

Byatt - I think you need some (((((hugs)))), we love having you on this thread.

Take care and glad your feeling a bit better

  • just been to tesco with the new vouchers (thanks Kinner54!) but they didnt accept/would not scan the one for pantene.
after 10 min waiting and the supervisor not being able to do it either, i told them to leave it.
    any ideas?
My local store won't take the internet coupons, but it would be worth your while complaining via email and listing the amounts, you may get a money card in the post. I've successfully emailed and complained about competitor conditional spends and had money cards back, and the training has filtered down so they now take them! And thanks all to this thread - before here I had no idea that T's took Sainsbos, Coop, Morrisons, er a few others I've forgotten and Boots!!! Am now starting to work on them regarding the internet coupons!
