worth a couple mins to sign up i guess
The email newsletters from Nivea almost always have a competition in them, and sometimes a link to claim a free sample. I've had some quite decent samples from them... mini suntan lotion a couple of years ago, and a small tin of the nivea creme. Definitely worth signing up2014 wins: £15 iTunes voucher, £15 Amazon voucher, Sharwood's wok & sauces, Food Lover's Guide to the World book, £20 Tesco giftcard, Goodfellas x 3, Garnier skin cream, £25 Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito meal, £20 Frankie & Benny's, Panebello pizza, Harlan Coben book0 -

(((GlobeTraveller))) - I don't think the *subtle* and *not so subtle* comments are directed at you, more all of us newbies/non-regulars to this thread. Here, as in life, 'friendly' can = 'cliquey' and so the sniping begins.
I've been on MSE long enough (including a very long break where I lurked during a long period of illness) to know that posts on here (MSE) can be quite unpleasant at times. I don't thought this thread was safe from the worst of it but I sense a real unpleasantness lately.
No-one *owns* the thread - it is on a public forum, and is titled "Updated Printable Money off Coupons & Policies Thread 18 (and chat)" - hence questions, answers and ideas posted. With the advent of the price guarantees there is a more advantageous way to use MOCs, and clearly a myriad of ways to find them. So inevitably more posting and chatter. The more the merrier I'd say :T
If the chatter is unbearable - then read only the brilliantly updated 1st page(s) (((IS)))! Or as suggested perhaps a parallel NO CHAT thread along the lines of the TESCO codes one could be stickied?
I'll happily go back to lurking again if I'm not welcome - no probs there. Its much easier to read though and use the information available on forums as a lurker - but its much nicer to be posting, sharing and thanking I feel.
That's my opinion anyway.
Happy Saturday one and all!,come on everyone, theres room for all of us, please no bickering or "comments" lets keep it happy and friendly, I love this forum and dont want to see it go the same way as some of the others, if any of you have any not so pleasant thought or comments can you keep them to yourselves please. this message is for everyone it is aimed at no one person in particular (how sad is that, that I feel I have to point that out.):(

We all voted for the thread to be amalgamated into one. It really is so much easier and does work.
There have been a lot of newbies posting recently in the aftermath of DTD. So there are some repetitive questions but that aint no great shakes.
People don't need to sift through posts......
M4rtin does a sterling job by letting us and IS know when MOC's have ended.
Type your MOC finds in blue and they magically appear on the first page.:rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks again Idlesaver:A:A:T:T:T:T
~If people only want MOC's just go to the front page~
I too, may have missed out big time if the DTD wasn't posted and discussed on here in the first place:eek:
I like the competitions that Bully and others post (apart from the velvet one )
If people need to come on here for virtual hugs or just to chat they are more than welcome:A:A
Oh yea and for tea tonight Mad is having a rustler's with freshly chopped tomatoes:cool:

Afternoon all, totally agree Gill, theres room for us all, lets face it we are all striving for the same goal, saving money through coupons, but having said that Ive definitely not got a problem with someone adding something else moneysaving to their couponning post. Like most of us with other commitments I would have missed some of the bargains if they hadnt been mentioned here.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

Wet fish round the ear for VC...:D
Shopped in Sainsburys and really found it so very pleasant...took my mocs no probs, only used 3 + a £2 of £20 conditional spend and got a £3 off £30 back....preferred getting 2 x 4 pints of milk for £1 each instead of having to get 3 from T's to get them for a £1, loved the wide open spaced aisles...apples were cheaper , so were strawberries and peppers...fillet steak looks very fresh , eating that later today and got 3 packs of chicken fillets for £5...jar of their Difference jam ( equivalent to T's finest range )for 71p....in fact everything I bought was either the same price or cheaper than T's plus they opened a till for me so I didn't have to wait...def going to return and have to say the staff were fantastic...bill total was £63 after mocs...so had lots of stuff to compare prices and quality with....and their diesel was 1p cheaper!!

Totally agree with above posts, there is room for all and I certainly don't want to see this thread going the same way as some others. Please all keep it friendly and let's carry on looking for MOC's to share.0 -
OH went to Mr S yesterday to get quarter pounders and finish with coupons only to have them refused at till. Only 2 per shop he was told someone the day before had been using fraudulent coupons so new rules now  (sorry if weird spacing on hols using phone)0

Good afternoon everybody!
Hi Blue, just seen your post above and I am going to GFS with my family, I wanted to know if you have any good tips about what to do to get maximum vouchers, and just generally what to do. I was wondering if we need a packed lunch, or dinner in the evening, as I know you get to test samples etc, but do you get lots of food to test??
Thanks.0 -
