Hi all, newbie here so sorry if l'm being naughty for asking.....

I've got the Sharwoods coupon for a free jar and it doesn't say how many you can have so can l...... *gulp*....... colour photocopy the voucher and try getting another one....?

Or would that earn me some time on the couponers naughty step :o

(In the T&C's it says 'Only one coupon may be used against each item purchased') and not one per household....

ETA: and thanks for all the tips so far, l've a stack of coupons beside me now :rotfl: BTW l've tried wombling but have never found a stray receipt yet, l must live in a tidy area!

NO! as that is fraud, and can ruin things for everyone else. IE stores stop taking vouchers!

    Hi
I'm new here, just found the site yesterday. Had a read at the beginging but still a little confused on how to reduce a total order. Am I right in thinking you print off the MOC's and then wait until the item is on offer in one of the supermarkets and buy it.
Hi llyday - I'll answer the first bit - basically yes but sometimes an offer doesn't come along and if you want the item, it's still cheaper with the coupon so buy it anyway.
If you check mysupermarket you can find the cheapest place to get what you want (except Morrisons whose website is carp). If you are going to Tesco, you can combine your shop armed with a stack of coupons from page 1 of this thread with a competitor's conditional spend coupon (like Sainsbury's £2 of a £20, etc) and maybe a Tesco till spit (some people get these when they shop, some don't), you can make some pretty decent savings - this is my third year of couponing and I've saved £k's good luck :D
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Printed out the rustlers voucher, and went to MorRisons today.

They have most of the rustlers range on special offer at £1 (instead of £1.69), until 8th May I think it said.

So, have got 2 rustlers today, for £1 :) Instead of £3.38 for 2. Never had them before, but think my DS's will probably enjoy them!

The shelf was looking rather bare, so probably best to go early am?

and.... want to share this with you too:

Had a £1.55 voucher for sharwoods sauce. Cheapest place for me to buy it is in tesco's at £1.10

Saw this mentioned by someone on the DTD thread a whilst back, striped tumblers. Looked for them then and none around, But found them today! £1.25 each, but each tumbler had a sticker on it, 4 for £3. (shelf label said 6 for £5) Bought 4.

Goes to pay, total is £6.10. Used £1.55 coupon, pays £4.55 in cash.

They'd overcharged me :), so go to CS desk, explains, just bought these, should be 4 for £3..... oh we'll refund you the difference...... oh says I, don't you double it if I've been overcharged? Oh yes, they say. 3 assistants later, £4 refunded.

Result, 4 tumblers and 1 sharwoods sauce, for 55p :)

  • afternoon all! Catching up on posts, funny how it's back to moving quickly now that dtd has finished!

No shopping yesterday, went out into the Dales, up to Yockenthwaite and then Appletreewick, which if they weren't lovely places already would be worth visiting just for the names!

Been a bad mum today - bounced wee one on my knee whilst watching Ice Cold in Alex. Not seen it before but knew it was a classic. Am now gagging for a lager....

    Thanks for that.

    Details are:

Choose from Chinese curry, chow mein, sweet and sour, thai green curry, thai red curry or tomato & sweet chilli.

    Valid until 2/6/2011

    ----

    Thanks for clarifying sarah-t

    ---

Also, with the Plenty 50p off coupon printed on first page, Co-Op (which is Somerfield) has Plenty for HALF PRICE for £1.02 until 10th May - so it would be 52p per pack in there. :T

    Happy moneysaving all.
