hi, quick question . on the front page some of the couponsafe ones (fairy etc) say prints 2 in brackets, is this from doing the "no it didnt print thing" or do you mean by registering with 2 diff savvy accounts to get 2? just want to check before i print as dont want to print out 2 under same account & get a ban. someone on one of the other threads had printed 8 fairy coupons by using just different pc's but surely if these have a barcode unique to user they would get found out for printing so many ? oh this is so confusing.
it's by saying 'no, didn't print'. You get a second and the barcode is different.

Yes it will print two and yes many of us use the "no it didnt print option" however the correct reply to you would be, that it will print two if you apply twice for the coupon with two different email addresses. By using the "no it didnt print" option, it is bending the rules a little, although I suspect that the manufacturer realises this as on the 3rd attempt it comes up that you have already printed and definitely wont print any more.

New Coupons (can't post links because I'm new!)

50p off Robinsons Double Concentrate (orange only) @ Beforeishop

    SuperSavvyMe:
£2 off any Ariel Stain Remover
£1 off any Ariel gel, powder or liquitabs
£1 off Fairy All in 1 tabs
    £1 off Febreze Aerosol
£1 off Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp
£1 off any Gillette Venus Embrace or Venus Spa Breeze Razors
£1 off Lenor Spring or Summer

But they're only for Tescos or Sainburys. There were others too, but I can't confirm prices as I didn't need the coupons as to print them off.

    Great more coupons :j

Just a note though, has anyone else noticed how strong the ariel stain remover liquid (bottle) is? It is horrible if you get it on your hands, seems to take the very top layer of skin off (well my skin went white) and is really painful/stinging. I have emailed them twice saying that a warning should be put on the bottle but they have ignored me....(it does say on the bottle it might make your hands go white but not about the pain). Can you imagine if your child was anywhere near and it got spilled

Ooh the fairy original 650ml was good for RTD wasn't it? Especially with £1 off with this coupon.

heads up the ariel stain remover is just £3 at the mo in sains andtesco and the lenor fab con is only £150 at both so good savings to be made if used now.

Spotted the Fairy Fabric Conditioner in Savers for £1(had book offer on) Don't know if Savers take coupons though.

mine used to but they were terrible for it! I had the sent by post coupon and I had cut my coupon off, luckily still had the top in my bag. The Manager tried to claim it was a photocopy, I laughed and said, I don't think so, it is the original, has my name on it and has a unique pin code.

She then said to me where is the rest of the letter, I said here and showed it to her but I said you don't need it as it clearly states, cut here and give to cashier. I said these are my personal details and you have no right to them. she did take the voucher with much scowling.

    For Sassyblue:

You may have received a negative response but you unwittingly let loose on the keyboards the "p" word - photocopy! Only a few days ago there were posts abound with some newbies from the dtd thread peeping in after it had been announced on the "tesco cottage" thread that it seemed ok to, sssshhhhhhh photocopy coupons.

We then read your post and thought, Oh no, not again... Its just that a lot of us on here have been couponing for a long while now and unfortunately the photocopying of coupons is largely what led to the demise (Oct 09) of a very very generous coupon acceptance policy held by Tesco and Waitrose in particular (they would accept coupons against any purchase as long as they stocked it) We are just trying to protect something we all value greatly and whilst some rule bending does go on, (and this is the point at which Veggiecar will come and tell me off) for example, saying that the coupon did not print when it did to gain another, attempting to use a countrylife spreadable against countrylife block butter, registering family pets and second cousins twice removed for clubcard/nectar cards to generate additional mailings. However, there is a fine line between rule bending and rule breaking and photocopying vouchers has to be the ultimate no-no.

Also as posted above there is a unique pin on the couponstar/safe printables and I think most of us on here remember vividly being banned for nothing more than taking the (insert another "p" word) when Warburtons bread ran a "lunchtime" promotion.

All newbies are very welcome, of course, more coupon-hungry eyes the better but please, rather than flog a gift horse like a lot of people did do with dtd and get them refused in stores lets try and see past short term gains and enjoy this thread for many years to come.

Unfortunately our stores will never be like those in the US (Discovery Realtime, extreme couponning) - if only. However, we do our best.

Sassy - do you have access to more than one pc/printer? Neighbours, friends, family, work (maybe), library? Also if you need to system restore your PC, (but you risk losing loads of stuff) you will be able to re-install coupon printer.

Thanks for all that info, after reading through the thread l wanted to be clear on when it's 'savvy' to try something and when it's defintiely not. The coupon l've got has a code and my name so l guessed it might not be okay but thought l'd ask..... Of course l never saw the other thread, otherwise l'd have known.

Glad you mentioned the multiple clubcards, logging on another computer and saying you haven't got a coupon when you have to print another because IMO that is a the same thing! It's a grey area (for us newbies) and we need to know the finer points ;) so we can all enjoy couponing for a long time within the rules. :D

I'll steer clear of the 'p' word in future. :rotfl:

This has to be one of the nicer threads l can't believe the number of thanks you all give and get to each other.

I loved the Extreme Couponing programme, well to be honest l loved that womans stock rotation shelves, but as l said in the thread on there you wouldn't be applauded by store managers in this country for getting 4 trolley loads for $6.37 - more likely hoiked out and banned for your troubles.

    Happy moneysaving all.
