Hello and Good morning from a Newbie/Oldie - been away from MSE for a bit (for health reasons) but back and raring to go!

LOVE this thread - been a real education and I've read the first pages for tips and ideas - thank you so so much to all the wonderful posters who share 'finds' and 'how-tos'.

I hope to give back as soon as I can, but in the meantime I just wanted to say hello, and thank you, and I will report back how my first Moc-shop goes today (SSM and BIS ones first although the Philly one looks good too!)

Have a good day everyone!

I did on Sunday with no probs - am trying another today so I will report back later.

(If you are unsure you can always check with CS on the way in to avoid stress / embarrassment at the checkout.)

    HTH :) xx

    Hi

Im pretty new here as well, but i have started stocking up on a few items.

My best tips at present are:

Ariel Stain Remover - the coupon is £2 off in tesco, and at present they are £3 each, meaning you only pay £1, however Asda are selling them at £2 so if you make sure all of your purchases from Tesco are more expensive or the same as Asda you can submit the reciept to the price check website and get a voucher back for the difference, making it free.

Fairy Original - the coupon is for £1 off in Tesco, and they are selling them 2 for £2.50 making 2 only 50p - bargain

Colgate Total - Asda have the 75ml tubes £1.74 each or 2 for £2, buying 2 means you can use 2 coupons knocking a pound off. This means each toothpaste is 50p each, saving £1.24 per 75ml tube.

your best bet is to try and get access to more than one computer to allow you to print the couponnet coupons as these tend to be the best deals.

    hope this helps :)

Oh thank you so much, I think i shall have a little trip to asda, and tesco today stock up on the 'essentials!' x
