    Evening Everyone! :)

Did well today. Used an APG that was expiring today in Tesco's and picked up a fuel till spit.

Went to Sainsburys to use £5 quantumatic. Was just going through SS till when spotted a voucher in the bin - £4.50 off £30 shop :j Got SA to cancel my shop and went round again. £30 less £4.50 less £5 less £3 McVities voucher (for some problem or other - Hobnobs were BOGOF 95p so bought 4 - £1.10 off my shopping) less £15 nectar points = £2.50 to pay AND got a till spit for £3 off £30
Then went back to MrT to use 2 small DTD's expiring today.
Heinz Baked beans with sausages are good to use up a DTD as 88p or 4 for £3 in Tesco and 50p each in ASDA.

  • Evening all! Minor shop in T's today, was with my dad so had fun playing supermarket scrabble with the herbs and spices. Laughed like a pair of loons.

He admitted to doing something very very naughty, I was most shocked. He gets 2 mini pork pies from the deli counter (any other Yorkshire folk call them Growlers?) - and then he EATS THEM ON THE WAY ROUND!!! I could not beleive what he was telling me, very shocked about this! Abusing DTD is one thing, and maybe the odd grape, but this is just plain shoplifting. Bad dad.

I had a good shop though, grabbed 3 mags on the way in for the tortilla mocs, used a £6 off £30 Sains then a £5 off £20 Boots coupon followed by 2 x Fairy and other mocs plus a wee DTD, down to £8 on the nose. On the way out I grabbed a few more mags and asked dad to do the same - I was a bit ahead of him and he came sauntering out carrying 20!!!! Veh shocked by his behaviour, but will take him shopping again if I can keep him away from the pork pies.

Checked the receipt and the 4 extra clubcard tokens took 25p each off the bill instead of giving me 25 points, very odd. Don't know wether to phone up or not as would have preferred the extra points! Not sure what to do.

Midwinter - very sorry if you can't get any mags at 'our' shop, there were some there when we left! PM me if you want any lol. Got some more 1p caperberries and will check out the 1p thread again, cheers!

And hope you get your op soon RonniesMummy. I have a friend who has been waiting ages for her op, but she is in her 40's. Tough on you to need the op so young.

Aww thank you, im quite lucky that until i am 25 i am still covered under my dads medical insurance for work, so i am going private. Just want the pain to go away now its really getting me down, im on strong painkillers at the moment as well, so i dont make much sense! x

    Hey guys

I manged to get about £9 off my shop today in MOC's and around £20 in multibuys, its a start but im nowhere near you lots league!

I really want to stock up on items that have MOC's and are on offer in store too, but im really struggling to find any, im sorry to be a pain but can anyone point me in the right direction?

(im not feeling right today, im waiting for a hip replacement and today has been a very painful day...and yes i am only 22, not 82!!)

    xx

    Hi

Im pretty new here as well, but i have started stocking up on a few items.

My best tips at present are:

Ariel Stain Remover - the coupon is £2 off in tesco, and at present they are £3 each, meaning you only pay £1, however Asda are selling them at £2 so if you make sure all of your purchases from Tesco are more expensive or the same as Asda you can submit the reciept to the price check website and get a voucher back for the difference, making it free.

Fairy Original - the coupon is for £1 off in Tesco, and they are selling them 2 for £2.50 making 2 only 50p - bargain

Colgate Total - Asda have the 75ml tubes £1.74 each or 2 for £2, buying 2 means you can use 2 coupons knocking a pound off. This means each toothpaste is 50p each, saving £1.24 per 75ml tube.

your best bet is to try and get access to more than one computer to allow you to print the couponnet coupons as these tend to be the best deals.

    hope this helps :)

I am so confused about how you manage this couponing, please help me out. So can you use more than one on the same shop of the £4 off £30, £3 off £20 type? I thought you could only use one at a time? Also, how did you manage to use a sainsburys one please? Thank you.
