Have not really got any idea where you signed up but I just did a quick google and looks to me as though there are 2fees that apply when joining Weight Watchers a joining fee and a plan fee...looks as though you have got 1for free and have been charged for the other.....if you divide £29.85 by 3, thats £9.95 a month, which is about right , I think, so you I think you have saved the joining fee.....I could be wrong, but I do not think I have ever seen an offer for 3months free for both joinng and the plan......sorry can't be of any more help

Oooops....sorry just saw there is a deal on Topcashback site, recommmended by MSE for 3 months free....if you did it that way, maybe you should contact them....or the discount code provider that you did use

How to Kill Mosquitoes - NOT A JOKE

I was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone. A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared. The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes. And voila! That worked as well.. It worked at a picnic where we sprayed the area around the food table, the children's swing area, and the standing water nearby. During the summer, I don't leave home without it....Pass it on.

OUR FRIEND'S COMMENTS: I tried this on my deck and around all of my doors.
It works - in fact, it killed them instantly. It is not as expensive to use as the can of Bug-spray you buy that doesn't last 30 minutes.
So, try this, please. It will last a couple of days. Don't spray directly on a wood door (like your front door), but spray around the frame. Spray around the window frames, and even inside the dog house.

    Now these are Good Mosquitos!!!

Hi, I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong place. I've just signed up for the 3 months free weightwatchers deal but couldn't find anywhere to enter a discount code, now I've recieved an email from paypal saying that I'm being charged £29.85! Is there anyway I can still apply the discount code or cancel my subscription to stop the charges as I've just signed up about an hour ago or will I be charged either way?

    TIA :)

Info from link from MSE email this week and my added comments, note red text.

(As far as I am aware its free after factoring the cashback gained through topcashback but cashback is not always guaranteed.)

Sign up the right way and you can effectively make a profit on Weight Watchers' 3 month online plan.
Factoring in registration and plan cost, its online three-month plan is usually £62.80 at full price (£32.85 for the plan plus £29.95 sign up fee). Yet follow these steps and you can make a profit of £4.48, using a combination of cashback, discount and code.
    How to get it

Step 1. Get cashback to cover its £33 three-month plan

ww1.png New Weight Watchers online customers can get £33.33 back via cashback site Topcashback*, scheduled to end at midnight on Sun 15 May.
First set up an account at Topcashback, and you could earn enough back to cover the Weight Watchers online three month plan cost of £32.85.
Warning! Cashback sites pay you because they get paid by Weight Watchers for sending it traffic. Yet as the cashback isn't direct, and it involves tracking so there can be problems. While it usually works never consider the cashback 100% guaranteed. If you can't afford to pay in full, don’t do it.
If you’re new to cashback sites, read the Top Cashback Sites guide before continuing.

Step 2. Get the Weight Watchers £30 sign up for free

ww2.pngAlongside this, Weight Watchers online is currently offering free sign up (normal cost £29.95) when you take out its three month plan.
To get it, once you've clicked through from the Topcashback site to Weight Watchers, opt for the three month plan - it should say 'Sign up for FREE when you buy our 3 month plan'.

    Step 3: Get a further £4 offww3.png

As part of the above promotion, Weight Watchers is also offering an extra £3 off, bringing the total cost on the link above to £29.85 (normal cost £32.85 minus £3).

(I think the code you are referring to is below to reduce cost by £1 which you did not enter)

Yet you can get a further £1 off this using a code.
Click the 'enter promotion code' link on the Weight Watchers site to enter the code 4-16-717-18376, which will get you an extra £1 off and lower the total to £28.85. This code's scheduled to end on Tue 31 May.
So factoring in the £33.33 cashback against the discounted cost of £28.85, this makes an effective profit of £4.48.

(I think that you are being charged £29.85 as you did not use the £1 discount code and would then expect cashback, (it is not instant takes some weeks to receive it) as long as you have followed all the steps above applying via topcashback, you then have to follow the step below to only have 3 months)

Step 4: If you only want the free months, ensure you cancel

ww4.png If you don't want to carry on past the free three-month period make sure you cancel before the three months is up, but not within the first month, otherwise Topcashback has told us you may not get the cashback.
If you don't cancel at all before the three months is up the plan will renew automatically and you'll be charged £10.95/month.

If you dont want the membership then do as other peeps have suggested and contact WW but dont know how succesful you will be.

BTW- have just seen reference to your thread this am, Byatt- really sorry, I missed the original, but just wanted to say how very sorry I am to hear your news. Have 2 rescue labradors, one of which had a cancerous lump removed from her side a few months ago. Before then, lost 2 dearly loved ones in 18 months, so I know how much your dog means to you. Thinking of you (((()))) xx

Wonder if this works on Quantumatic? Not that it matters as all my purchases were on the DTD so the receipts are long gone!!! Grrrr wish I had kept some as I also bought a box of the 42 tablets when they were something like £12! Botheration.
