  • Hi guys,

had a good shop this morningat asda's. I was very organised and checked all the prices before I went and i wrote out 2 lists, one of things that were cheaper in other stores and another where Asda had the cheapest prices. Obviously I used vouchers as much as possible and picked up a couple of whoopsied items too.

Transaction 1 should have been £30.61 but was £14.98
Transaction 2 should have been £33.05 but was £21.74
So in total £63.66 down to £36.72!!

...and I should get a good few quid price guarentee voucher tomorrow morning!

Freezer is stocked, we have bread, cat food, meat, margerine and yogurts!!

I'm well happy - can you tell? :j

If you have an 'Android ' phone( think that's what they are called) and you have internet access on it, you can dowload the 'mysupermarket' app...then you can scan a product on your phone and see where it is cheaper, whilst in the store ...it shows prices at T's, S/B Ocado and Asda...I've got it on my iPad and I have to put the barcode in as stuff won't scan....I double checked stuff before I left the house yesterday( it was quicker than using my laptop) and it confirmed the Finish was still £5 and the fact that Loyd Grossman curry sauce was only £1 at Asda and £2.09 everywhere else...so changed my shopping trip to go to Asda instead of Sainsburys...

was told my Curiously serious Cinnamon 50p (By connecting to FB) voucher was a photocopy today :-(.... I was told by the rather butch tesco manager that because she could see the dotted line marking the cut out area around the coupon, she wouldn't accept it..

    Well good afternoon everybody!
I just wanted to say a big thank-you to everyone who has posted coupons and given out advice, I have been a lurker for a while, as I felt I could not post anything, because as much as I try, I cannot find any new coupons!
I thought I had found a new airwick coupon and it turns out to be the same one as you have on the front page. Ah well! Better luck next time!

I wanted to ask a question if that is ok, but I know a couple of you are going to the good food show in June and I wondered if there are any deals for tickets any where. I have just returned from grand designs show,(got free tickets) and my DH and kids had a whale of a time, so he said to book tickets for the good food show and we will probably stay in a hotel on the sat 18, I think we would prefer the weekend because the kids go free. Sorry to ramble on but I have just totted up the totals and its going to cost us a small fortune! Any cheaper ideas anyone! Thanks!
