Hello to all!!!
i decided to search thie subject of couponing after i watched the real time show, as im sure have thousands of others! lol.
Now even more so do i really need to tighten the purse strings and this could be my saving grace.
my family consists of me, hubby, 4(almost 5) years old daughter and 2 cats.
For a while now i have budgeted to £250 pm shopping which coveres everything, cat food, toiltries and household cleaning etc.
It would be grate to be able to cut costs with coupons etc.
I have a couple of questions- I really think i want to be a womble! ...however what is a womble!!! sounds fun!!!:D

Hi and welcome to our thread.
Newbies are welcome as long as they find their thanks button and use it, especially on page one. We all thank idlesaver who keeps the thread updated with coupons on a daily basis, its a lot of work so we all appreciate her help.
A wombler is someone who picks up discarded receipts, I usually get just asda ones and then put them in the price guarantee thingy and hope for a voucher to use off my next shop. I have had various vouchers, mostly a couple of pounds but a few over £5.
Till spits are pieces of paper that come out of the till when you pay with your receipt. They will be money off coupons ie 50p off bread, or conditional spend coupons, ie £2 off a £20 spend.
You should read all of page 1 before you go any further as this will answer most of your questions.
Good luck

Used 3 x £5 Huggies newborns coupons - went through at £5 so made £6 profit
Anyway, bought 3 huggies newborns boxes, 2 finish quantumatic, 6 cartons of cranberry juice on offer for 2 for £2, 10 large packets of Haribo sweets (reduced from £1 to 25p) and about 20 various easter things, which included 4 boxes of galaxy eggs, and 4 packets of mini cadburys eggs.
Used 3 Huggies coupons, 2 finish and 5 wombled receipts - total to pay .70p
SA was very pleasant, didn't rush me, and no moaning about coupons. Great shop.

I had a very similar experience lovely S/A's smiling and chatting , even though I had loads of 10p reduced stuff, some haribo, 4 quanumatic's, huggies x4 etc and used and used loads of mocs. Had more to pay but boughyt other general stuff as well.:)
Checked my receipt on the way out and I'd been charged £1 FOR 5 10P items I got a refund, giftcard and an apology, totally different to T's:jStarting to save £2 coins again, but it is a struggle:rotfl:Not doing very well keep spending them

Morning all
Have been to Sainsburys and Asda so far this week, so Tesco's turn tonight, lol. I don't have a dishwasher, but hoping to find the Finish "thingys" [techie term] to bump up totals for a conditional spend till spit. Am sure I can find a home for them, lol.
So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

Click on the tetley ad. Hope the link works!
It is for a free sample and a 40p off coupon!
HTH
ps,
Tetley redbush 40 bags are £1.69 in Tescos but only £1 in Asda.
That would make them £1.29 (using coupon) in Ts (but a RTD of 69p). Total cost after refund of only 60p.
Not bad if you drink it anyway!
Thank you jumblejack...:T:T:T
I have added the link to "coupons by post" list0
