Even the nice SA commented on the strange value! :rotfl:0 -
WOW  heres what ive got today from asda....
2 x huggies newborn starter kit
4 x finish dishwasher stuff
box of pampers nappies for £8 - bargain in itself
reduced croissants 29p
some fruit shoots £1.12
I used 4 £5 off vouchers for finish (got 6 packs of it now waiting for my mum to pick it up lol). 2 vouchers for free huggies starter kits scanning at £5 but were only £3 a box so got extra £2 each off shopping.
I was very sneaky again hehe, i gave sa a coupon for £2 off huggies, and she scanned it and put it through even though i bought pampers (unless she thought the huggies starter kit qualifys.
£25.41 shop down to £3.41!!! I cant belive it. I was saving £30 in my bank for nappies and shopping cos im skint this week, and in the past 2 days iv only spent a couple of quid so i have a spare £25 now to treat myself

to get the extra £2 off shopping did you have to have more than £2 in your shop that you did at the time, or did you get a voucher?
was thinking of going to asda to get the newbornkits and finish but it would mean i wouldn't be paying for anything else as i have all my shopping for this week, should i wait til thurs and get it then with my shopping? and will i get an extra £2 off??0 -
I didn't do as well as some yesterday or today but managed to get my £5 finish for nowt which i was sooo chuffed at, my mum will also be getting this
I did buy the newborn kit for £3 for the coupons, not realising there was a coupon here!!

Best to check when the baby event ends and the huggies boxes will go back up to £5.50 so you would then have to pay .50p.
Just bear in mind that even though the voucher scans at £5 the sa might cancel it and put it through at £3 which is the price of the kit. This has happened to me on one occasion and there is nothing you can do about it. The rest of the time I have been lucky and the coupon has scanned at £5 so £2 off my shop.
To be honest if it were me, I would go and get it tomorrow and get a few non perishables to bulk your shop out.

btw - the childrens aquafresh toothpaste is on offer in Mr S's for .66p so only 6 pence a tube0 -

Well the voucher is for £5 and the newborn starter kit is reduced to £3 but the whole £5 still comes off so you have a spare £2 to use on shopping, so i would get something daft like biscuits or something so it comes to a couple of pence over and have a HUGE grin on my face when the sa says thats £something ridiculous then hand over coupons and hear him/her say 49p please :rotfl:
However, i dont know if anyone on here has the answer?? but when do the huggies starter kits go back up to whatever they were before, im presuming £5???? and not to sure on when the finish goes back up to £10.18.
I would just go in tomorrow and use them, its so much more pleasing when you have a big bag of shopping and paid a few pence :j
- hope thats helped
