Help with Freeview/Sky +

Hi all.

Right, I've just moved house and have a few questions.

In the last house I had Sky+, and recorded loads of programmes which I haven't had chance to watch yet.
In the new house I haven't got a Sky dish or any Sky subscription.
I don't want to record the programmes from the Sky box, just watch them.
Is this possible in any way?

The second questions concerns Freeview.

My partner (who I've moved in with), has been watching Freeview on her old telly.
Last night I brought my newer telly over and connected Freeview and her DVD to the telly.
Today I've been flicking through the TV channels and some of the Freeview channels work fine, and some (Like CBeebies) have a big flickering at the top of the screen.
Any suggestions how to rectify this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Reg

    Sorry,no it's not.
When you cancelled, the record/play features are disabled. Not only that but because you don't have a dish,as soon as you turn on the box, you'll get a error message "No Satalite Signal" ect.

Hmm, CBeebies seems to be a very good picture now, very strange.
I wonder if it will be fully rectified from now on
