I upgraded my contrcat phone on 2nd April,I chose a sony ericcson xperia arc.Once at home i charged the phone and wasnt keen once i started to use it.I gave it 6 days to try to get on with it but this didnt happen.I returned to the Orange store on the 7th day to ask if I could possibly swap as the phone was of no use to me and I would prefer a Blackberry as they still had a keyboard.I was told under no circumstances would I be able to swap as I had chosen the phone.Fair enough, but I wasnt given the opportunity to try the touch screen whilst in store. If I had I would not have chosen this phone.I am now stuck with a phone that I can only make calls on and my son is using it for the internet. Can anybody help please ?

Unfortunately, Orange are right. 7 days cooling off period applies only to distance selling and only if you don't use the phone.
When buying you could have insisted in trying the touch screen and could have gone to another store if they refused.
IMO, touch screens are very good in fact, but you may need some time to get used to it.
Use a capacitive stylus in the worst case scenario.0 -
If you really hate the phone then sell it and buy a Blackberry as a replacement0
