also the customer advisors may not have known what the price was going to change to after the offer. Where i wrk we can find out when the price is going to change but we dont know what to or whether its going up or down - we find out when the customers do! can make an educated guess as to whether its going up or down but never know for certain0

Either this forum is a waste of space, or else you must all just be retailers protecting each other's dealings..!
And no, I'm not annoyed because I didn't get the answer I want; I'm annoyed because I didn't get an answer one way or another!
Pointless, pointless, pointless ...
If you want legal advice then use a lawyer......
This is a forum with advice, I could say I am a lawyer and give you some answer but you still wouldn't know if it was correct or not!The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

If you can prove fraudulent misrepresentation you may be able to have the contract rescinded/cancelled.
Can you prove FRAUDULENT misrep? That means showing that they knowingly gave you false information to induce you into the contract.
The other type of misrep you might be able to use is innocent - but I cannot remember the remedies for that.0 -

I think the OP is a troll.
He posted THIS yesterday at 12:27amPaulVinny1 wrote: »Wanting to secure the best price for a sofa, I rang various branches of a furniture store and eventually made a deposit to secure a price, but asked for the order to be held until I could visit the store and check the details of the layout of a corner sofa. I am now unable to secure the funds for the remainder of the cost of the sofa. Can you tell me if I am entitled to a refund?
but yet, hours later, at 09:13 am yesterday was moaning about the fact that the suite had been reduced and wanting to know if he could ask for a further discount or a refund of his deposit.
Make your mind up, Paulvinney!
