Orange contract
Hi there guys,
I wonder if anyone can offer any advice. I took a contract with orange through phones4u in Feburary but have not received nor seen a contract. In the phones4u store I was asked to sign the direct debit at x,y and z. Given a phone and asked to leave.
I am wondering what course of action I should take. The phones4u in question was one within my workplace (a DSG store) and I do not really wish to ask them as they are friends. That said they failed to tell me about what I was signing up to so I feel I was missold the contract (never mind I have no copies of said contract). Further to this phones4u never went over the key points of entering the contract (which I believe is a legal requirement before entering someone into a credit agreement as of February 2011).
So I am wondering if anyone can advise me on what I do in this situation and also if I have a right to cancel the contract (without affecting my credit score).

You have seen it, you signed it at x, y and z.
You're stuck with it now regardless of whether it should have been explained to you better in store. Orange are real !!!!ers too, you've little chance of getting out of that without serving the full term.
PAYG for me. Giff Gaff, far better than the mainstream lot.0 -
I don't think that a DD mandate requires three signatures. It was the contract that you signed along with the DD and there were no reasons for signing it without reading and asking for a copy.... I was asked to sign the direct debit at x,y and z. ...
Phone them and ask for a copy of the contract you signed.I am wondering what course of action I should take.0 -
the store soon will find out, when its investigatedDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

On what grounds do you feel you were missold the contract? You agreed to the contract by using the phone.0

"By using the phone" you can 'agree' to different contacts, let alone a PAYG deal.0

also you know what minutes etc you were taking, I know DSG staff are paid low but £5 p/h should cover your billDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
