Hi Hope someone can help. A few weeks ago I had to do a complete reset on my laptop. Since then my graphics have been really jerky and it is now doing my head in. The other day I couldn't even watch a you tube clip without it stopping every 3 seconds. As for iplayer I just gave up with what I was watching to be honest. If someone could give me some plain english advice on how I can solve this very annoying problem I would be VERY grateful as playing some games is a nightmare!!!

still, try updating your graphics drivers, cures 99% of such problems after a clean install

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

It's probably using the standard Windows graphics drivers, and will need the specific ones for you device installing.0

Thirded or fourthed or whatever for installing graphics card drivers. You'll be using very basic VGA ones if its jerking whilst doing things like scrolling.
If its only doing it when watching iPlayer or Youtube then your problem is with your network or your internet provider.0 -
Another vote for the standard Windows graphics drivers being used instead of the proper ones, and it's odds on that none of the other hardware drivers were installed either.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0

Thanks for your help folks. Can one of you nice people point me in the right direction as to how I upgrade my graphics drivers please. I have an Acer 5536 if that is any help. I posted about this a while ago and someone told gave me some advice on my drivers and I did download something then but it obviously didn't make much difference so any new advice would be good.If practice makes perfect, and nobody is perfect....................................

Visit this page, choose your model from the list and download the item labelled VGA Driver.0

One of the other posters said that I would already be using VGA driver and that is the problem. Am a bit confused now!!If practice makes perfect, and nobody is perfect....................................
