Good 3G provider/coverage Bournemouth
I am ready to get a new contract and my first smart phone I am currently with O2.
Having good 3G coverage in my home town is important and the phone I would like is not available directly with o2 and I can get a better deal if I switch provider, 3, talkmobile (vodaphone network) have some really great offers on at the moment but as I have no experience of 3G with a smartphone I am wary of entering into a contract without trying to get some base facts first.
So if any one is in the local area to me what are your experiences and who is your provider.
Thanks

Vodafone have great coverage down here.
I'm on T-mobile with my phone, and I get pretty decent signal most places. It's worth checking coverage on their websites.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

Thanks, I have found that the websites are over generous with their coverage, ofcom give a bit better information.watcherman wrote: »Not in my experience, they are notoriously unreliable.
who T-Mobile or Vodaphone?
The only way to get an accurate picture is to pick up some free pay as you go sims from the providers you're considering and actually road test them where you frequent the most.
I ordered some 3 mobile sims that arrived today, notoriously rubbish indoors and outdoors not great either.
Surprising considering they have quite a lot of masts in the area too and their website says coverage is great to excellent.
I did check each providers website but they all pretty much say the same with small pockets of no coverage, however in reality its a different story......I will have to locate some more sims.
Thanks for the info.

Try Vodafone and O2 as both generally provide decent cover although at times slow.0
