Broadband checker

I asked for my mac code from orange earlier and have been looking for what is available to me but when I enter my phone number and postcode into some online checkers I get this..
"Check availability - results
Note: Our Records indicate that you have a product or service supplied to this line that is currently incompatible with broadband. You will need to have the product or service ceased before broadband could be provided. If you place an order before the incompatible product or service has been ceased then the order will be rejected."
I have recently changed my phone line provider to talktalk.. Is this the reason I'm getting this message when I check my phone line and if so does this mean I can not switch BB providers..

Could be Talktalk. Don't exactly know how it works but it can affect your broadband. Not in all cases though.0 -
I had the same problem due to being on an LLU circuit. This means you cant easily transfer to another company without canceling your Orange account first and then starting from fresh with another company.
You should have been told that Orange was "upgrading" your line which indicates that you are now on a LLU circuit

You can switch from an isp using LLU in the same way as with IP stream using a MAC code.0 -

No its nothing to worry about.
When you get your MAC from your ISP you're basically going to be transferring the broadband service thats already there to your new ISP.
Now if that checker came back saying your line has no broadband on there then i'd be worried as your MAC would be no use, as theres no service to transfer.
So no it means you still have broadband active on your line with orange, get your MAC to your new ISP and get it processed asap!
