I managed to get 4 phones it total and sold them on ebay. Prices have dropped as so many for sale. Sold for about 35 each so £30 after ebay and paypal fees. so real cost is £80

But I have now ordered a 80gig Ipod for £260 and 3 now 65 cd's which I will sell on ebay to reduce my overall cost.

So I have a £260 ipod for about £50 in real terms. RESULT

I called them today and was told they had 32 in stock, but 258 orders. They are trying to order more.

Luckily for me I hope I'm number 12 on the list (ordered Friday) and they say I will get mine from stock.

my order turned from 'special order from supplier' to "Item to be ordered from supplier" now do i take this as a good sign, or should i start screaming?

My order (pre-vouchers from this deal, but part of their "deal of the day" promo) is to be ordered from supplier. "Strangely" enough it says that if I ordered the same item now for the full price now the 24hr offer is over... it's stated as "usually ships in 24 hours". I queried this on the phone with a customer services advisor (took 4 goes of calling, on hold for just over 20mins each time before the phone automatically cut me off), who said that the 24 hours referred to time between ordering and dispatch from warehouse if in stock.... *growl*:mad: I gave up in the end, will have to make it a post-crimbo pressie instead for the bf, or perhaps it'll arrive in time for his birthday.... in November! :rotfl:
