Hello
I don't know what to do, i really love my boyfriend, but he says our song is
I used to love her (Guns n roses) - for those that don't know it the words are I used to love her, but i had to kill her, i had to put her six feet under and i can still hear complain..

He thinks this should be the first dance if and when we get married, does this mean he has violent tendancies, should i be worried?

I do really like that song... or maybe truth be told, did when I was younger. And the lyrics do suggest he had to bury her close to him as he missed her. Anyway, November Rain would make a fantastic first dance song. Could he be persueded? (Also, i am not at all violent, have never hit anyone since primary school - I did have one fight then - and don't really get mad much, I'm sure lots of people who like that song are basically good people, and lots might be bad people. I'd consider how he treats you. Maybe he's like me and is also anti marriage and thinks this suggestion will put you off...)0

My (almost) 12 year old loves this song. He's a massive GnR's fan and plays them on his guitar. I wouldn't worry about it:rotfl: maybe there is a more appropriate GnR song to play though! Maybe Patience, or Sweet child o mine is quite romantic-ish!0

Wouldn't be my choice but it takes all sorts.
At the last wedding I went to the couple's first dance was "there ain't no pleasing you" by Chas and Dave, which was chosen by the groom as a surprise. I do wonder what sort of a wedding night he had!0 -
I wouldn't be too worried... My husband wanted 'the b!!ch is back' to be played when I walked into the reception :rotfl: think I must of been one of those nightmare bridezillas0

Tell him you want "The One and Only" by Chesney Hawkes as the first dance song, so as your song choices are so different, you'll have to compromise!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I'd be worried and not necessarily about your boyfriend's possible tendencies but his complete lack of taste. This is not the sort of moron I'd be thinking of spending the rest of my life with. I think I'd be planning a conversation about the definition of "disrespect" and "totally inappropriate" if I wasn't going to pack my bags and/or kick him to the kerb first.0

Bloody ell if this matter is already making you doubt luv - I seriously don't think you are ready to take the plunge - especially as you think he may want to kill you!!!!? Perhaps find a Barry Manilow fan instead eh.0
