I learned this lesson in 1997...after booking flights to Vegas from Cincinnati, I told my friend who was flying from LA to Vegas what time my flight would be landing so she could pick a flight that arrived about the same time. Thinking I was very smart I even converted my arrival time based on my departure timezone (3 hours ahead) and told her when I expected to be there and she booked her flight.
A couple of weeks later, somehow it came up in conversation...local time...thankfully, she was a good friend and didn't give me too hard a time about having to wait for me for 3 hours at LAS.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
