Good luck on your quest!!;)
Jammygal - thanks so much for this. I did it for my little girl and it came about 3 days later. I've never got a freebie so quick. DD has named her Daisy, there was some debating about calling her Howard (who am I to stop a 3 year old's creative mind!) but Daisy it is. She's rapidly becoming her favourite toy, so thanks once again! :j

Forgive me if I'm being stupid, but could someone explain what DD stands for? I keep seeing it on a number of chats, and assume it relates to a daughter... fantastic thread, I also sent off for the Cow & Gate cow, it arrived yesterday and will be ideal for my little nephew x0

Okay, coming to this a bit late but wanted to highlight the balloon thing incase newer members haven't seen it - this is the suggestion to get a huge box and fill it with balloons (some with sweets inside) streamers etc. I absolutely loved this idea on Martin's tips - what a great present as kids often prefer the wrapping anyway
Also, what about a Christmas treasure hunt with clues and hidden gifts/freebies/sweets etc - or give kids tokens to hide to trade in for gifts (ie you can only have your presents when you have found your tokens) the older ones can help the younger ones or you could make it a competition if you have older kids. It takes more time this way and makes the present giving more funMortgage Free since January 2018!0 -
