  • When I met my husband 3 years ago we were carefree in great jobs then he developed scoliosis and overnight needed a wheelchair. He had to give up his job (manual labour) and I gave up mine to be his carer. He was told he would need an operation to break his back and straighten it which could leave him paralysed and we were advised to have any kids immediately. I was only 19 at the time. Im 23 now and my son is 2 this christmas and my daughter 10 months. The age gap has been hard and we dont have that few years of carefree young love like others, but I wouldnt change our lives for the world. We will be a lot poorer then most this christmas but im so thankful for our children. It took a long wait and a few heartaches to get them and whilst love is the most important thing I do feel guilty not to get them everything for christmas.

Sorry for the big story just felt so inspired on here.

i have applies for all the gifts and i'm loving reading everything you guys put
Merry christmas everyone, it really feels so festive on here xx

If we all lived to the rule 'an eye for an eye', the world would be blind...

Hi Shardell. I was merely commenting on Scheming-gypsys avatar (little picture next to his name) in the post higher up the page as I found it a little scary. However, if you have your pages set up differently you may not have seen the post I was commenting on, here it is
i'm a self confessed evil SOB who cares about nothing except my dog and the girl i'll never have but there can never be too many people like you in this world.

It was a good post, hope it hasn't caused any confusion!
