ummm...I truly apologise girl! All the surgeons I know are male and without exception insist on being Mr....I do wish you well. BTW you will find out Consultants are a total nightmare! It's either my way...or the the highway (take a walk!) with them!0 -
no probs!!:rotfl: dont worry i get that all the time. been working in hosp for 5 years now and yup already experienced the "my way thing"...it sucks...but hey they are the bosses..0
-
All of that aside please come back when you have passed the medical and let us know! The thing I found is that Consultants cannot agree to disagree...don't do that when you get there!0
-
i will do....hopefully...as long as i pass.
Otherwise i think i will curl up into a corner.
yeah the consultants....they disagree with each other!! so knowing what to do as the junior is very very very difficult...and almost always leads to getting told off...;)0 -
...it's a 'rights of passage' thing that all medics have to play unfortunately! I'm sure you'll do well.0
-
...perhaps you have a PM?0

hey guys,
just thought i would update this thread.
I got a quote in and they were putting an additional premium basically doubling the price......
think i will just leave it at the moment....0 -
Probably as well to leave it until you're settled weight-wise at your preferred lower figure, then re-applying (to a different insurer!)0

Sorry to be such a grump but aren't doctors supposed to be amongst the most intelligent of our professional classes? It staggers me that someone who's clearly university educated and bright can't even put an apostrophe in the right place! God help us. And please don't some bright arse tell me that it doesn't matter if you're just looking up people's bums and down people's gobs all day. It does matter.
