Problems with Retaileyes

Hi,
Has anyone else had any problems with RE? I have done two assignments so far. First one was paid without any problems, however the second assignment, which I believe I did perfectly, was taken off of my pending payments and was not paid when it should have.
I have called them and was told someone would call back - they never did. I have emailed them twice, without a reply. I have logged the transaction with the accounts department three times now and still no sign of any payment.
Thanks x

We've got to the point where we can no longer be a***ed with Retail Eyes. They don't respond when you contact them, the assignments are getting less and less worth the hassle as the deadlines for filling in the report get tighter and tighter with more conditions...and all for a measly fiver(and free meal:o ). We have been sent to mystery shop for meals in pubs that don't even serve food!!!!!
The new updated website is rubbish and you can no longer see at a glance what the assignments are. I have ticked the box asking for email updates when jobs are available and have hardly ever had any emails.
Lastly...I am sick to death of them phoning me asking me to go do Herbert Brown assignments when I have told them I DO NOT OWN ANY GOLD DOBBER JEWELLERY therefore cannot do it!!!!!!:eek:Laughing at my ancient signature...voodoobaby now 10 years old:eek:0 -
Lol Voo!
The phone calls will probably cost me as much as the fee they owe me...0 -
Their lack of variety is driving me crazy. All pubs! For the last month!"People fear what they don't understand and hate what they can't conquer"0

They've had plenty of other work too - sandwiches, opticians, shops etc but you have to be very quick to get the more popular jobs.0 -
I've never had problems with them - everyone I've ever spoken to has been lovely and helpful.
It's annoying if they're not answering your emails - and annoying that it's not a freephone number so it's going to cost you trying to sort this out
And I do agree about the fees not being great!0 -

I check the website around 3-4 times a day, and all they have had in my area is Woolworths (which I did), Subway (which I didnt) and hundreds of different pubs!"People fear what they don't understand and hate what they can't conquer"0 -
Which other mystery shopper sites do you use?
I've done a few job for Retail Eyes, but only if they're really close by - the money isn't very good at all.Proud to be dealing with my debts:dance:

Dont forget to pay tax on the £5 fee that you earned by spending 45 minutes in a shop and a hour filling out the report.
I have learned my lesson with MS and only do the restaurant ones with TNS to get a free £30 meal or a free game of bowling, the rest are not worth the hassle.0 -
I have been doing assignments with Retail Eyes for the past 9 months. The last assignment I did I had to visit a Game shop. There were 2 Game shops in my local town so I made sure I went to the correct one that they wanted me to go to. I completed the assignment and submitted the report. Then it was upheld at the proof reading stage and they wrote saying I had visited the incorrect store. I wrote back stating that I hadn't visited the incorrect store as I made sure that the address was the one they had on the sheet. It is not my fault if they had put the wrong address on the sheet!! However, I failed to get any replies to numerous emails I sent to them. Basically they replied back that I had visited the incorrect store and wasn't getting paid for it. There was no discussion about the fact that they may have given me the wrong address. I am not being treated in this way and no longer wanted to do any more assignments for them. To be honest it is peanuts what they pay you anyway. I have done a lot of pub assignments for them. By the time you have completed your report (which can take an hour and a half +) and you add the time it has taken you to complete the assignment, upload receipts/images etc it is just not worth the effort. Add on to this the fact that they hardly ever reply to your emails, made me feel unappreciated. Don't let them treat you like a mug as they did with me!! :mad:0
