New Phone Required

Ive got a blackberry 8900 on a sim only contract. Recently the phone stopped working so I sent it back to Vodafone who advised that its suffering from water damage and the cost for the repair would be £100. I refused to pay as its been no where near water etc and eventually Vodafone just sent the phone back without it being repaired. Ive stuck it in a tub of rice but im not confident this will solve the problem and so im on the look out for a new phone. Ideally would like to get my hands on and Iphone 4 but not at all happy paying £400-500 for one. Does anyone know of any trustworthy website that sell reconditioned iphones? Or can anyone recommend a decent smart phone I could purchase which is not going to cost me an arm and a leg?

Thanks

    Orange San Francisco (android).
    Search the board.
You can get it for less than £100 and unlock for free.

There are a few other androids below £100 and much more within £200 mark.

This depends on your requirements and your definition of 'decent'.

It is - I got it on contract. There are pros and cons but pros outweigh the cons. There is a newer version with Android 2.3 on it but this one packs a punch - just look at the reviews on the net.

ive had an HTC Magic before and found it very average indeed. Infact it was rather poor. I believe however this was one of their first phones so i would have hoped they have improved since then.

I'd echo the recommendation for the Orange San Francisco. Great phone for under £100. The screen is fantastic.
