Hi, i am currently with BT paying around £40 a month for unlimited broadband and phone line (free evening and weekend calls to landline). I am thinking of changing and just wondered what the best packages are at the moment. I cant have cable in my area and have had virgin before and broadband connection wasnt any good (kept cutting off). I need a steady connection with unlimited broadband usage. Not too fussed about free calls on landline as have a mobile with free calls. Any help would be great
Thanks

Google for samknows exchange search, pop in your telephone number and have a look for your LLU operators if any, these will be the cheapest options. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Ring BT and tell them you want to leave. They'll offer you a special deal. They offered me an upgrade to broadband option 3 (unlimited), free evening and weekend calls, free caller number display, free outbound call barring and including BT Basic line rental for £20.70 per month. If anyone can beat that I'd really like to know.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

The free caller number display (BT Privacy at home) isn't actually free. If you read the small print in there terms and conditions it states that you have to make a certain amount of calls for the service to be free or they will charge you. That is also the same for the free answering service to.
BT Privacy at Home - use the Telephone Preference Service and Caller Display to help stop unwanted sales calls. Caller Display is free if you make two chargeable or inclusive calls a month using BT; otherwise it's £2.70 a month or £8.10 a quarter. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
