Day no. 2 for me today. Not too difficult when you are trapped in a polling station from 7am to 10.30pm. Goodnight peeps I am very tired.

    Counting tomorrow too I think!

Tomorrow won't be as i need some compost to earth up my asparagus which has just started growing (i am soooo chuffed about that :D) i was going to leave it till my spendy day on Friday, but that would mean dragging it home in a suitcase, & tomorrow my friend has offered me a lift back from the compost shop, so figure i am going to sacrifice my NSD in favour of ease & convenience....
.. and a very wise decision too, BDINI, why drag compost home in a suitcase when you've got a nice, comfortable car to put it (and yourself) into? Well worth losing an NSD for that:j:j
On the bright side, i re-did my budget yesterday & have £350 a month for overpayments or the necessary final jobs to be done on the house. Don't think i'll use it all for overpayments every month, as it would be nice to afford the final bits for the DIY (seeing as i have worked so hard to do all the work on the house myself), but it feels amazing not to be living up to the last penny of my wages every month & i have promised myself that anything i don't use is an overpayment, so DFD is looking about 2014, nowhere near as far away as i used to think it would be!! :T

That is fantastic news, I'm really chuffed for you. Seems as though the house will be finished sooner than you thought as well, double success there:j:j:j:j:j

    Good morning all!

A bit drizzly here this morning!
Today I am taking doglet to the grooming parlour for his holiday "do" and while he's there I'm going to the dentist. Not sure what's being done today, I think it's impressions for the dreaded wallies (false teeth)th_Picture22972.gif to replace the ones that are coming out.
It just struck me that there is something very wrong when the hound is spending the morning being bathed and pampered and I'm having a less than pleasant time at the dentist!

I took the money out for dog yesterday on my spend day so, if I dont spend anything else I should get another today.

BTW - GOOD LUCK TO THE GALS DOING THE MOONWALK

I am full of admiration for you!:A My best pal at work is doing the Edinburgh one in June and I know how much effort and time she's put in to training for it. Personally, I dont think the materials for decorating the bras should be a "spend" as it's for such a good cause!

No D/Debits out of the bank yesterday, and no cash or plastic came out of my purse - so that gave me NSD #3 :T

No D/Debits out today either, so just need to keep my cash and plastic in my purse again.........

Well done with all these NSD's coming in!

I hand a spendy day yesterday, it will be a spendy day today, going to a punch & cocktail night tonight and I've to bring nibbles, so nipping out to Mr T's after work. Any ideas what I can take? Pizza, crisps, dips and ??????

Anyways, Hoping to clock up at least 1 NSD day over the weekend. Thinking of a lazy day in the house tomorrow so that might work out well for the purse!

    Have a good weekend everyone
