Is there anyway to use a Bluetooth headset with a phone that does not have that capability?

  • Hi,

It depends on the phone. (e.g. Nokia do a bluetooth adapter for pop port enabled phones like the 6100 which gives the phone Bluetooth connectivity).

I also believe that Jabra do a Bluetooth adapter (the Jabra A210) which will plug into the headphone socket of your phone and give you a wireless connection.

    See : http://www.jabra.com/JabraCMS/EM/EN/MainMenu/Products/Accessories/JabraA210/JabraA210

    Cheers
  • Hi Spikey

I dont think you can no, though i may be wrong as this tech stuff keeps upgrading all the time. I know you can get an adaptor to plug in to your PC so you can control bluetooth technology things but i dont think you can get one for your phone. Ask in a phone shop they'll know for definate.

  • Try eBay for the Pop-Port adapter ( http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=42393&item=6371380409&rd=1 )

eBay also has listing for the A210 (albeit from the USA).

Try Googling for "Jabra A210" (I have not purchased any of these personally so do not know where the cheapest place is)
