I have a spare 5 minutes so just to bring everything up to date ....

We've just moved some debt to benefit from Halifax's lower interest rate. We've moved all of Debenham's, which is now £0, and we've moved £2250 from Capital One.

Trying to make small little payments as and when to keep the snowball looking neat and tidy (I hate looking at odd pence!!!)

    Balances currently:
    Natwest Overdraft: [STRIKE]£4380[/STRIKE] £4341
    Debenhams CC: [STRIKE]£1900[/STRIKE] £0
    Halifax CC: [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £5014
    Capital One CC: [STRIKE]£5350[/STRIKE] £3149
    Santander CC: £2850

    Total: £15354

Oh how it would be easier to bring the amounts down if debt was all 0% and interest wasn't being applied! Makes it look like we're getting nowhere fast :( and in reality we've not added any new spending to the amount, even though it's gone up .... it's all interest and charges

Also got to try and find an extra £40 a month for the increase in my energy direct debit

    Oh well, onwards and upwards.

On the plus side, I've underspent on my housekeeping for 2 weeks running and have a £60 surplus .... just need to decide whether to keep this back for emergencies, or whether to chuck it straight at the debt .....

Roll on payday when I can make some payments!!! Cannot wait to see that total under £15k
