the way i read it, i assume that your total income ( including the is) will continue, without a raise until ESA rates match it.
i apologise ig that's wrong, it is just my interpretation.
oh right, thats great then! all i have to worry about now is passing the medical then, not easily done I hear, but my health needs are very bad and I need alot of care and support so hopefully it is do-able !
Thanks so much for your help! :beer:0 -

Really! wow, I hope my DLA renewal in July is approved then, then I will have nothing to worry about, I dont mean to sound totally money minded, its just for me money = care. I could manage on the normal JSA rate for food etc... its the care that is costly.0 -

Thanks very much for that info richard, I knew nothing about that. I've said in some of my earlier posts I find ESA so confusing!0 -
From the training I have had, you won't get the same amount on JSA.
If you are moved from IB to ESA, you would automatically be placed in either the work or support groups.
If you are found to be worse off, you will get transitional protection to ensure you don't get less money.
If you'd get more, you get that straight away.
If you are found fit for work and claim JSA, you would only get the rate for your age which is lower than ESA plus component.I currently manage a Housing Benefit service and have been working in Housing / council tax benefit (as was) since 2001.

The disability premium is no longer paid with ESA so they would not get that and they would not get the work or support components paid with JSA.0 -
no but they would get the dis prem and sdp paid with jsa both can still be paid with jsa found this link about claiming jsa and being disabled. The disability premium is no longer paid with ESA so they would not get that and they would not get the work or support components paid with JSA.
