Tiscali / Talk Talk change

Options
I'm a Tiscali customer. I recently received a letter from Talk Talk saying that my current package would no longer be available after May 6th. I took out an 18 month contract last August!!! I contacted them and was told that all was okay and that my package would run its course. Next I receive an email reminding me of the May 6th. cut off. I phoned as was told that I would indeed be cut off and was offered a package with them which doesn't give me the same items (free international calls etc.) Does anyone think I'm being railroaded here?

I cancelled my talktalk account over 12 months ago and changed address since then, but I have still received the same letter redirected to my new address. I don't know how they will cut me off as Sky own the line!

It just emphasizes the fact that they don't really know what they are doing!

I am having loads of problems with Talk Talk since they took over my Tiscali account. I have tried emailing the CEO so that hopefully I can get this sorted out at last.
Thanks for any help and advice given

Thanks for the replies. My concern is that I pay line rental to Tiscali so if they cut me off, how do I retain my line to get another broadband provider?

If you are LLU'd to Talk Talk then you will have to cancel your entire account with then and move back to another land line provider, probably BT.
They may do this free if you agree to a 12 or 18 month contract.
You are then free to use any ISP you like.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
