Hey LIH :grouphug:
Sorry you have the blues. You anticipated the steroids may have that kind of effect on you, didn't you? Poor thing. How much longer will you be on them?
A day of watching DVDs is just what I like to do when I feel low! Hope you are taking it easy and allowing yourself enough time to get through the low patch xx
PS I would offer a toe or something if I thought it'd helpLeason learnt :beer:0 -
This week I spent a total of £25.65 out of a £30 budget.
I'll set myself a budget of £10 again this week. I spent £4 today at the local shop. Have plenty food in so dont need to do a big shop, I'll just have to get bread etc as the week goes on x0 -

Thanks moozie, will be on steroids for a few months until consultant sorts something outthey do this to me every time,I went and slept in the car once to protect my family from any potential damage (it was that bad) I am running round like a headless chicken on speed, just can't slow down, but can't do anything correctly, everything I touch,I drop, everything I say comes out wrong and I upset everyone.
Don't tempt me with the toe!!!!
Perhaps I'll take it out on DH's.....feet not toes
Hopefully I will brighten up a bit tomorrow,at least I'm not spending any money

Well I've been really good for ages, but today I just broke out for some reason - PMS I suppose
, God when will it end? - I've ordered myself a Tom Tom 1 sat nav system (thru Quidco, so at least I'll get something back eventually) and it will be really useful. I should have waited til January though, I'm sure they'll be cheaper then
Not satisfied with that though, I've also splurged on a dressmaking form and some new shears which I have been lusting after for years, and 3 patterns for some new clothes - total spend today £300+ And that's all without leaving the flippin' house.
Well, at least I am using real money now and not just loading it onto credit cards
Anyway, I desperately need to rein myself in moozie, so I'm joining your challenge. I've already committed myself to going to the pictures and for something to eat on Friday - it's my annual meet with my buddy to exchange Christmas presents. Admission to cinema is £4, plus £12 for a meal & drinkies, that's all I can spend this week. Total £16.
Happily, all Christmas expenditure is now completed, pressies, cards, wrapping, even most of the food. So I have no excuses. Please feel free to shout at me very sternly if I look like falling off the wagon.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -

I hope you feel brighter tomorrow. It must be hard for all the family but remember they love and care about you so don't be too hard on yourself. Will be thinking of you xxLeason learnt :beer:0 -
Good evening moozie - I see you've managed to take a break from the dreaded p**king
Have you set this week's targets yet? I would like to keep the same £20 if that's ok - will try to do better.
Am also hoping for some good news on the job front this week, so I'm going to have an early night tonight as I've got a lot of organising and phone calls to do in the morning. Will keep you posted.
Cheers

i screwed up last week, ended up spending £30, lookin at my spend diary it was mainly on snacks in work. so this week apples and bananas will be in my lunch bag so no spending there. for the 1st time in god knows how long, its been a week since payday an i still have money in my account, im so happy i want to leave it there so my target for this week is whatever is left in my purse from the weekend, £12.50, will need £2 to send 2 recorded delivery letters to claim charges back so £10.50Married my amazing hubby on 8th September 2012 :j:j0

Forgive me Moozie, for I have sinned.
I seem to have spent loads this week, and most of it isn't recorded in the spending diary  *holds out hand to be smacked*
I promise I will try harder this week.
