  • Morning Moozie and fellow DFWers.

Well I went over last week's budget, not too badly though.

I've done my grocery shopping for this week, but may be going out for lunch with housemates today and for a walk in the country. I'm going to be generous to myself this week and give myself £20 for unbudgeted spends.
    Good luck to everyone. :T

    Hi Everyone

Well after 10 consecutive no spend days I spent some money!! (It had to happen eventually!) Last week I said I was only gonna spend £5 but it ended up being £27.16  this included £9.99 on the new Lost Prophets album that I had been putting off buying until the sales after Christmas BUT I won tickets to go see them tonight AND to meet them as well so had to but it so I knew some of the songs!

Anyway onto next week I intend to spend no more that £15. It will not be more I promise!

I hope everyone has a great week :)

  • Hi Moozie and all

I have amazed myself this week by coming in within budget! :j

I started the week using a spending diary, but I let it slide midweek after I left it at home and forgot to fill it in for the day... Moozie, don't shout!

However, working on the fact that I had £25 in my purse last Sunday and 14p left on Friday night, I got through £24.86 this week.

Working on £25 again this week.

    Good luck all.

Hi moozie - Well, I am pleased to report that I have succesfully resisted the temptation to go out today. I almost went to Tesco to 'browse' through the reductions, but we decided that we have more than enough food in the house, and, now that Tesco is closed I am happy to confirm that today was a No Spend Day.
The dinner is cooking - my wife has gone to visit her 100 year old friend in the nursing home, for an hour, thereby removing any temptation for me to go out - so I'm looking forward to a nice, relaxing, and above all no-cost evening at home. :T :T

Hi Moozie! Can I pledge a figure for this week?
I planned disastrously last week so have tried to remember everything for this week coming. Do I have to include weekly shop for groceries?

I'll presume yes so.....here goes (and this will be a biggie)....I hope to cap my spending this week at:

    £100

EXPENSIVE week for me this week and no mistake. Hopefully after this week things will calm down a bit.

OK off to see if I can update my signature to reflect this.....
