I have been sent a parking charge notice by Parking Eye Ltd. I still have the valid pay and display ticket which shows clearly that I did not contravene the "rules".
I doubt that the parking charge could be enforced even if I had contravened.
I shall ignore them but keep my ace up my sleeve. I intend to complain to Swindon Marriott Hotels whose car park is being managed by Parking Eye.

I received one of these when parked in a Marriott also. Although my hotel assured me that the first 3 hours were free.
I called the Marriott, they took the 'PCN' number and assured me they would get it cancelled. I've heard nothing since.

Ignore them, but inform the Hotel and ask them to get it squashed it will just save the usual rubbish coming and the postman from carrying their letter chain0

Yep, complain to the Marriott or you will have to put up with all the scary threatograms shown on the top thread:

Of course the fake PCN is unenforceable and the debt collectors are toothless so the letter-chain is nothing to worry about or respond to. Parking Eye never do Court (except maybe a stooge case that someone was trying to convince us about last month). Never pay or appeal a bogus PCN like this one!
But complaining to the Marriott should stop the letters - especially if you point out that harassment is a criminal offence and Parking Eye are acting as their agents...Also every complaint about PPCs is another nail in the coffin of their parasitical protection racket. COMPLAIN ABOUT THEM!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
